Online Resources


CCIA will be launching a comprehensive mulitlingual gateway “” to all online resources and literature on complementary currencies. Aiming for global coverage and contributions in the mid and long term, the site will intially seek to cover and stay up to date on all complementary currency issues and initiatives in the Nort West Europe region. will be one of the legacy outputs of CCIA, with current partners providing stuartship and support beyond the lifetime of CCIA. After the end of the CCIA project, ownership and governance of the platform will be transferred to a consortium of contributers and sustainers.

The wikipedia style site is currently in beta stage as we refine the distinct introductory portals for practitioners, academics and policy-makers. We are excited for the launch of this online platform and look forward to the co-ownership of this “go to” site for complementary currency topics – learn more about how you can get involved here: Our online encyclopedia preparing for Beta launch.

A big step in our aim to bring together the wealth of information on CC topics already available online, is the migration of the the CC Database, CC Library and CC Academic Research Group from the Complementary Currency Resource Center, over to We are very pleased to announce the inclusion of these resources on our new site and we are very grateful for the service that the CC Resource Centre has provided over many years to those wanting to learn more about complementary currencies.
