Event: Currencies say yes to recycling

Posted on

Event: 18th & 19th Sept 2014, Hasselt, Belgium

Next month Belgian currency pilot E-Portmonnee will host our Nantais colleagues and representatives from 6 other European cities to discuss how currencies can be designed to facilitate better sustainable waste management systems.

This meeting has been possible through CCIA linking up with the EcoWas project who are carrying out research into how waste management systems can be designed with the well-being of residents in mind.

We are very excited about the collaboration and look forward to presenting the benefits of community currencies as effective policy tools.

The following day, both Limburg.net and Credit Municipal de Nantes will present their community currencies at the Hasselt Up-Cycling festival.
